What’s with the name?

“Bob Dylan Wrote Propaganda Songs”: not only is it a classic punk rock song from The Minutemen, it also embodies the goal of this music blog page. First off, the name obviously pays respect to The Minutemen and their indie approach.  While the band toured “econo,” we’d like to think we blog “econo,” approaching it without any agendas, telling it like it is from our perspective.  The name also brings up the great Bob Dylan, who is the quintessential symbol of being independent and pushing the boundaries of music.  We want to push new music, and hopefully, we can help guide you down the path less traveled. We’re not spouting propaganda, rather, we’re spouting the truth. So listen up.
